A BLOWN fuse has left 40 properties in Robert Street, Milford Haven, without power.
The incident happened at around 1pm this afternoon (Friday), and has left nearby homes and businesses without electricity.
Western Power Distribution staff are currently at the scene, and are working to restore the supply.
One of the businesses affected is radio station Core FM.
DJ Daryl Millar said the station was broadcasting the news when staff heard a 'huge bang' from across the road.
Mr Millar said the 'explosion' cut off power to the station, which has had to resort to using a back-up power supply.
A spokesman for Western Power Distribution said they believe a fuse had blown in a wall-mounted cabinet on the outside wall of one of the properties.
"Altogether 40 customers have been affected, but all but three should be back on within the hour.
"The remaining three will be back on shortly after that," she added.
The spokesman also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the incident.
