Due to interest in the future of education provision in the county, a second public consultation meeting has been arranged for St Davids.

The session, which will take place on Wednesday 19th March at City Hall between 6.30pm and 8pm, is in addition to the public meetings already announced.

The public consultation sessions are part of a preliminary consultation exercise, which in turn is part of the county council’s review of education in the St Davids area.

Similar consultation looking at multiple options is also taking place into the future of secondary education in the Haverfordwest area.

In addition to the new meeting on March 19th, consultation sessions on education in the St Davids area will also take place at

• Fishguard Town Hall on Tuesday, 4th March from 6.30pm to 8pm.

• St Davids City Hall on Wednesday, 5th March from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Anyone who would like to take part in any of the sessions needs to book their place, by phoning the county council’s contact centre on 01437 764551.

The City Hall has a 150-seat capacity and by asking the public to book seats in advance the council say they will be able to manage capacity and assess whether further meetings will need to be arranged.

From Friday, 21st February, members of the public can also view consultation documents online and give their views on the County Council’s website, at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay The final date for responses is Monday, 31st March 2014.
