SIX people have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs after 1kg of cocaine was seized.
Police said the arrests came 'as a result of a protracted and co-ordinated operation' conducted by the Serious and Organised Crime Team of Dyfed-Powys Police.
The team had been conducting an investigation into the trafficking of substantial quantities of cocaine, into the Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the south Wales areas.
A total of 1kg of cocaine has been recovered in the police operation.
The six men will appear in Llanelli Magistrates this morning (Monday).
DI Huw Davies said: “This is a significant amount of drugs that has been recovered.
"Tackling class A drugs is a priority for the police and those who bring such drugs into the force will be relentlessly targeted.”
