Pumpkings and queens are invited to show their creative side at Milford Haven’s Hallowe’en-themed street market today (Saturday, November 1).

The weekly market will be given a spooky makeover, with plenty of tricks and treats on offer.

West Wales Ambulance Service will be providing free ‘fake wounds’, and there will be a face painter, apple bobbing and other games.

And, thanks to a donation of 20 pumpkins from Spar in Charles Street, a carving competition will also take place, with £50 up for grabs for the winner.

Emma Lee, Spar deputy manager, said the firm was happy to help support the spooky market.

“One of our goals is to help the community in any way we can,” she said.

Market manager, Byron Jenkins, said: “It’s amazing the support we’ve had from Spar – it’s been fantastic.

“This will help us to raise funds so we can put on more things around the market.”

The market runs until 4pm, on Market Square.
