A HAVERFORDWEST man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of a 40 year-old man on Sunday.
At 4:40pm on Sunday October 23 an emergency call was received requesting ambulance attendance to forestry land near Cilgwyn Mansion, Llangadog, Carmarthenshire.
John Griffiths, a 40 year old motorcyclist from the Ciliau Aeron area, had sustained serious injuries as a result of a collision with a quad bike.
Paramedics and police attended but tragically Mr Griffiths died at the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in forestry near Cilgwyn Mansion, Llangadog, on Sunday to come forward to help build a picture of events.
A 22 year old man from the Haverfordwest area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police enquries are ongoing.
Any witnesses or anyone been present in the forestry at the time of the collision are asked to contact PC 766 Roger Jones at the Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit on 101.
