THE Pembrokeshire Football League Association will be running a course for potential new referees shortly.
The league has a shortage of referees and anyone interested in taking up the whistle is urged to attend the next course.
Many are former players take up refereeing when their playing days are over, but if you are young and ambitious there is a pathway to reach the International Panel (FIFA), it maybe a case of putting something back into the game and being recognized by appointments of cup finals at Area Association and local league level. When you’ve passed the exam there is additional training and support from the West Wales Football Association.
The next course is on Friday, October 31 at Neyland Athletic Club, starting at 6.30pm.
To attend the course telephone Brian Hawkins on 01646 698075 or Pedr McMullen on 07979308310.
