Tenby 2

Goodwick United 4

GOODWICK United deservedly came away from Tenby with three points neatly tucked in the bag.

The visitors led 3-1 at half time and stood firm in the second period to collect their fifth win of the season, as the Seasiders slipped to their third league defeat of the campaign from seven starts.

The visitors took the lead in the tenth minute, a quickly taken direct free-kick taken by Rhys Dalling caught Tenby keeper Liam Robson off his guard.

However, within a minute of the first goal the hosts equalised when they were awarded a penalty as Jordan Richards was fouled inside the 18-yard area. Joe Leahy confidently despatched with the resulting spot-kick.

But the visitors added two further goals in ten minutes to grip this tussle by the scruff. Jonny Horgan rifled into the bottom corner and Dalling added his second of the game, the striker kept his composure as the visitors counter attacked.

Ten minutes after half time and Darryl Mansbridge scored a peach of a goal, gliding past tackles before cutting inside and drilling into the far corner.

Rob Morgans scored with a delightful free-kick from the edge of the 18-yard area, the midfielder guiding his effort into the top corner.

Richards and Leahy missed scoring opportunities for Tenby, but on the day Goodwick deserved the points.
