Pembrokeshire Classic Car Rally

The fourth annual Western Telegraph Milford to Tenby Classic Car Rallywill be taking place this Sunday, September 2nd.

Entry is free and the aim of the event is to promote Pembrokeshire. There have been over 150 entries, including classic cars and even an original BSA motorcycle in the Automobile Association livery. This year the special guests will include the deputy mayor of Milford Haven and the vice-chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, who will be in attendance at Milford Marina to meet the entrants before the start of the run.

For readers wishing to watch the vehicles, the route commences at Milford Marina at 10.30 am, after meeting at around 9.30 am; taking the A4076 to Haverfordwest and on to the A487 to St Davids, where this year the St.Davids Peninsula Tourist Association is kindly providing refreshments, for entrants, at St.Davids Rugby Club.

The route then continues on towards Cardigan, and at Eglwyswrw the Rally will take the B4332 towards Cenarth and onto the A478, to the finish in Tenbys Tudor Square. In Tenby the Rotary Club of Tenby will host the end of the days events, with Western Telegraph rosettes and certificates being presented at 3.15 pm. Refreshments for entrants will be provided by The Pam Pam Restaurant.
