Have you an aviation tale to tell?

THE Pembrokeshire Aviation Group, which meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month, is finding it increasingly difficult to obtain guest speakers for meetings.

And the group is now appealing for anyone with a tale to tell about their experiences in the RAF, Fleet Air Arm and civil aviation. Meetings are held in a very informal atmosphere, with around 30 members present. Any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the speaker will be met and should transport be a problem then a member can usually arrange for a lift.

So, if you could keep the group amused for around an hour, or if you know someone who can, please contact the secretary, John Evans, on (01646) 683041.

The first meeting in the new year will be on Tuesday, January 8th, at the usual venue - the terminal building of Haverfordwest Airport, commencing at 7.30 pm.

The speaker will be group member and lifelong aeromodeller, Laurie Glover, who will be bringing along some of his models. New members are always welcome and inquiries regarding membership and the groups activities should be made to Ron Dann on (01437) 781540.
