BBC TVs Louis Theroux, who recently interviewed the Hamiltons, has been seen in West Wales during the last few weeks.
He was spotted in Carmarthen and Haverfordwest filming for a rumoured new series similar to his recent Weird Weekends.
In Carmarthen he was seen in the Greyfriars Arcade and in a local cafe and in Haverfordwest he and his two-man camera crew were spotted in the Tesco store following a transvestite around. At the store, the TV interviewer and his subject attracted considerable attention, with a camera and microphone trained on them as a tall man dressed in womens clothes, complete with high heels and green-varnished finger nails, chatted about his experiences.
At the checkout Mr Theroux and his subject, who was about six feet three, were talking about school days and discussing other pupils reactions to different behaviour.
A BBC TV spokesman said no details could be given at the moment and the visits were simply a recce with no particular programme in mind.
