Stranded fans just smile away the storms

FISHGUARD was invaded again on Friday. But it was not by the French this time. It was by Welsh rugby fans anxious to reach Ireland for the Six Nations Wales-v-Ireland game. They were among 4,000 passengers stranded at the port after gale force winds led to the ferry cancellation. They probably wondered whether their long hours of waiting and stormy crossing was worth it after Wales was beaten 54-10. PICTURE: Western Telegraph.
