Goodwicks winning form continues

Goodwick United 5 Milford United 0 Referee: Dai Barker

Sean OConnors Goodwick United maintained their recent run of good form with another emphatic victory, with Milford United this time feeling the full force of the North Pembrokeshire outfit.

Five goals without reply says it all, although such was their dominance they could have scored a few more.

Even Robins manager Brian Burgoyne wasnt complaining, saying: They deserved to win. We had three regular defenders out, but I dont think that would have made too much of a difference as they were just too strong on the day.

From start to finish Goodwick were in inspired form. Within five minutes they had taken the lead when Steve Summers played the ball back to Wayne OSullivan, whose low shot found the back of the net. Thirty minutes later and goal number two came from the boot of O Sullivan again after the ace striker scored straight form a corner.

In the second half, Goodwick really turned on the gas. Summers added the third after latching on to a re-bound from a Dai Hayes shot and quickly added the fourth when OSullivan played the ball back to him, while Dai Hayes wrapped up the goal scoring spree.

OConnor was a delighted man after the match saying: It was a pretty comprehensive victory.
