Man charged with murder

A 35-year-old man charged with the murder of a young Pembroke mother has appeared in court.

Robert Harry Watson, of 2, Gordon Parry Close, Neyland, is charged with the murder of Cindy McAteer. Cindy, aged 29, was found dead in Pembroke Main Street on April 20th. Watson also faces charges of aggravated burglary and threatening to kill Gareth Mann and Julian Griffiths.

Watson did not enter pleas. The case was sent to Swansea Crown Court, where the first hearing will be on May 3rd.

Watson was remanded in custody.
