Man charged with murder

A 35-YEAR-OLD MAN charged with murdering a young Pembroke mother has appeared in court.

Robert Harry Watson, whose address was given to the court as 2 Gordon Parry Close, Neyland, is charged with the murder of Cindy McAteer. Cindy, aged 29, was found dead in Pembrokes Main Street on April 20th. Watson faces further charges of aggravated burglary and threatening to kill Gareth Mann and Julian Griffiths. Watson did not enter pleas. The case was sent to Swansea Crown Court, where the first hearing will be on May 3rd. He was remanded in custody.
