The fifth annual Milford to Tenby Rally will be taking place this Sunday, 1st September.
Entry is free and the aim of the event is to promote Pembrokeshire. There have been over 175 entries, including classic cars and vintage motorcycles. This year our special guests will include the Mayor of Milford Haven and the Chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Lord Parry of Neyland and TV personality Jane Harvey, who will be in attendance at the Marina to meet the entrants before the start of the run.
For readers wishing to watch the vehicles the route commences at Milford Marina at 10.30 am, after meeting at around 9.30 am, taking the A4076 to Haverfordwest onto the A487 to St.Davids, where this year the St.Davids Peninsula Tourist Association are kindly providing refreshments, for entrants, at the St.Davids Rugby Club.
The route then continues on towards Cardigan, at Eglwyswrw the Rally will take the B4332 towards Cenarth and onto the A478, to the finish in Tenbys, Tudor Square. In Tenby the Rotary Club of Tenby will host the end of the days events, with Western Telegraph rosettes and certificates being presented at 3.15 pm. With refreshments for entrants being provided by The Pam Pam Restaurant.
