Course geared to enterprising students

If you would like to become one of the first generation of on-line learners and entrepreneurs, then Pembrokeshire College has free places starting this October on both the enterprise degree course and foundation degree in business administration.

The courses are run in conjunction with the University of Glamorgan's enterprise college scheme which allows people to study when and where they want to via the internet.

"All the courses are broken down into separate modules so you can choose what you study over a time period that suits your lifestyle and to what level," said tutor Denise Gledhill.

"But that doesn't mean that you're left on your own - all the support you need will be given by Pembrokeshire College tutors to help you succeed. "The enterprise degree course can be taken either full or part-time and is ideal for someone who is currently running or thinking about starting a small business.

"What's so great about the enterprise degree course is that the modules have been designed to help you turn a person's drive to succeed and a great commercial idea into a thriving business. What's more, both courses are free due to support from the Welsh Assembly and European Social Fund."

A Pembrokeshire College student was awarded the first foundation degree in Wales last year at an award ceremony at St David's Cathedral. Call Pembrokeshire College admissions for further details by e-mailing admissions@pembrokeshire.ac.uk or calling 0800 716236.
