Fifty jobs are to be created over the next six months at a new call centre in Pembroke Dock.
Metropole Sales and Marketing (MSM) sell insurance for mobile phones and are based in the historic Captain Superintendent's House in the town's Royal Dockyard.
It is believed to be the only company selling mobile phone insurance via a pro-active call centre.
MSM will initially create ten jobs but expects to see the business expand quickly and anticipate having a staff of around 50 by the end of the summer.
Policies sold by the team are fully underwritten by Lloyds of London. Richard Langston, a director of MSM, said the availability of trained call centre staff was a big incentive to open the business in Pembrokeshire. Pembrokeshire County Council leader, Councillor Maurice Hughes, said he was pleased the company had chosen the county.
"Since the demise of ITV Digital we have received a number of enquiries from businesses interested in opening facilities in Pembrokeshire" he revealed. "This is in no small way due to the high quality of call centre staff on offer.
"Three of these companies are now open for business and creating jobs. Adkins Medical and Cyber Travel already employ about 50 people and now we have the prospect of a further 50 jobs with Metropole.
"A lot of good work has been carried out in recent months by Pembrokeshire County Council, the Welsh Development Agency and our other partners. I believe this investment is now paying off and we are anticipating more job-related announcements in the weeks ahead."
