Chance to sail away in tall ship

IF you have ever wanted to sail on a tall ship now is your chance! Members of the public can secure their place in the Russian tall ship Sedov to sail from St Petersburg to Milford Haven in June.

The voyage from St Petersburg to Milford will take about ten days and passengers will be able to join in with the Russian crew and assist with swabbing the decks, hauling sails and even climb the 60 metre masts. Accommodation on board is basic, but you will be fed three square meals a day.

The cost of the voyage is 825 euros, but passengers must find their own way to St Petersburg.

The ship leaves Russia on June 3rd and will arrive in Milford Haven on June 13th to a grand welcome.
