Lamphey (131 all out) lost to Neyland (132 for 6) Umpires: Dai Morris and Arthur Brady Scorer: Helen Hodges
Veteran bowler Peter Burton produced an amazing 8 for 25 spell of bowling which helped Neyland gain a very important victory in their table-topping clash at Lamphey.
His performance was all the more remarkable because he joined the fray as the fourth Neyland bowler as they toiled against some speedy run-gathering by Lamphey openers Daniel Sutton and Gareth Lewis, who took their side to 101 before Burton intervened and sent them to tea all out with only another 30 runs gathered by the rest of the side.
Sutton is in a rich vein of form as he rapped ten boundaries and a six as he speed to 57 before he fell to a superb catch by Andrew Hansen, running backwards and pouching the ball over his shoulder to give Burton his first scalp.
Sutton had found a willing ally in Gareth Lewis, making a welcome return to action with ten fours in his classy 50 before he was bowled by Gary Lloyd - and then Burton showed what a battler he is by having Hywel Gibbs caught by Jeremy Charles, Peter Hall caught behind by Andrew Slark and Greg England clean bowled, for a combined total of just one run.
Mark Yea managed double figures before he fell to Burton, who ripped through the tail to leave Lamphey all out on 131 from 32 overs as Burton's final figures were 10 overs 4 maidens 25 runs eight wickets!
But Lamphey are also bonny battlers and they removed Dave Haynes early on and then got rid of Paul Murray as Peter Hall and Greg England bowled well in tandem.
Sutton showed what a major role he now plays in the side as he finished with 4 for 30 but as wickets tumbled under pressure from some good fielding it was Greg Miller who became Neyland's saviour, the extrovert all-rounder reaching 64 not out.
His innings included 11 fours and there is no doubt that it was a match-winning display in conjunction with Burton's earlier heroics as he was joined by Andrew Slark in seeing Neyland home with four wickets to spare.

Saundersfoot (178 all out) lost to Burton (180 for 7) Umpires: Tony Scourfield and Walter Dash Scorer: Stuart Sharp
Burton gained a big win at Saundersfoot with a good all-round effort as Kevin Roberts and Johnnie Scale shared six wickets, and John Venables supported with 2 for 27, in restricting the Seasiders to 178 all out as Roger Stanford (26) was the pick of the early batting before Danny James (41) and Ben Armstrong (34) put on the bulk of the later runs. Burton lost James Scale early but Richard Hayman and Oliver Sheldrake put on 50 runs before Hayman was dismissed for 59 (nine fours and a five).
Sheldrake also reached 59 (11 boundaries) before he was one of Dickie Parcell's 5 for 34 haul as the visitors lost their way a little - but John Venables and Johnnie Griffiths took Burton home with maximum points as Yannick Parker showed what an asset he is going to be over many years as he came on as sub and took a superb catch. Burton were sponsored by Rob Dorey Builders' Services, Milford Haven.
Carew 2nds (202 for 8) drew with Maenclochog (221 for 5) Umpires: Keith Edwards and Peter Perry Scorers: Sue Phillips and Dai Williams
There were runs galore at Carew as the home club's seconds did well to reach 202 for 8 in response to rapidly-improving Maenclochog's massive 221 for 5.
Mike Howe hit eight fours in his 76 (83 balls) and Wayne Jones hit a six and seven fours as he managed 74 at exactly a run a ball. They shared in a second-wicket stand of 146 as Ceri Davies and Gareth Brace shared four wickets for Carew.
Carew made a steady start in reply through Gerald Hicks (35) and Russell Knox (23) but Jeremy Griffiths departed for a duck and Steve Cole was run out by a superb Gary Nicholas throw as he looked likely to claim a big score. But James Hatton batted really well for his 53 (a six and eight fours) and old-hands Brace and Kerry Waters saw Carew to a draw in an enjoyable contest.
Haverfordwest 2nds (132 for 2) beat Stackpole (128 for 9) Umpires: Phillip Marsden and Glyn Pawlett Scorers: Ros Phillips and Sue Skeels
Veteran medium-pacer Mickie Phillips was the toast of his Haverfordwest Seconds' colleagues as his 5 for 37 spell helped shoot out Stackpole cheaply before Town 'young guns' Richard James and Danny Potter saw their side home with impressive half centuries.
Phillips varied his pace well and found willing allies in Alex Kemp, Colin Williams and Danny Dewstowe as only Anthony Canton (55) ever looked comfortable for Stackpole as skipper Richard Gibby, Matthew Skeels, Steve Mitchell and Anton John also managed double figures.
Alan Sexton went cheaply for The Town as he played on a ball by John - but James and Potter put on 103 runs before Potter was bowled by Skeels with 62 runs to his name(including 11 fours).
James went on to score a stylish 51 not out (nine fours) and was there at the finish with Jamie Jenkins as they reached their target in only 24.2 overs.
Llanrhian (178 for 5) beat Johnston (177 all out) Umpires: Rob Bellerby and Alan Hansen Scorers: Rob Morris and Bryan Morgan
Half centuries from Gareth Davies and Andrew Jenkins eased Llanrhian to a good home win against a Johnston side which batted well to reach 177 all out despite an injury to No 3 Steve James which caused him to retire hurt and only able to return for the last few balls.
Jenkins and Davies also starred with the ball as they shared five wickets as their side earned maximum bonus points.
Johnston's tally owed much to a sixth-wicket 48 stand between Leigh Walters (31) and Chris Fitzpatrick (36) after John Summons had opened with 34, with Jenkins grabbing 3 for 39 and Davies 2 for 27.
Llanrhian lost early wickets as Andrew Leese was caught and Chris Couzens chopped a ball onto his stumps. But Tim Stirling contributed 25 before Jenkins (53) and Davies (56) swung the game in Llanrhian's favour despite good bowling by Richard James and Steve Jenkins - and Geraint Morris finished things off with a powerful 21 not out. Johnston were sponsored by the Silverdale Inn and Lodge.
