If elected, what will you try to do about the following local issues: Attracting new jobs?

Sort out Objective One mess - money has not reached businesses; target strength of Pembrokeshire economy - tourism ICT, renewable energy, agriculture; more support for local existing companies with roots in Pembrokeshire. The local economy?

Plaid will target Pembrokeshire as a growing area and develop Fishguard as a strategic port; we'll make public procurement work for Pembrokeshire, it's worth £3 billion to the Welsh economy. The local health service? Aim to bring in salaried NHS dentist for Pembrokeshire; free dental check-ups and eye-test for all; £50 per bed per person for elderly care homes. Road and rail links?

Plaid would work to bring the railways under Assembly control and improve services in Pembrokeshire The Bluestone project and tourism?

I support Bluestone. We should not over-work existing tourist facilities. Farming?

Make sure payments arrive on time. Further develop Tir Gofal. Improve farming connections. Promote growing of alternative crops. Plaid is against planting GM crops. Fight for Welsh farmers' voice in CAP reorganisation Education and schools? Prioritise 'educate' to all sectors of society; abolish tests for key stage two and three; consult on new funding formula for schools. War with Iraq?

Plaid was against the war, fearing it was a dangerous precedent, and suspicious of Bush's motives and Blair's slavish following of Bush. What sums up your constituency's challenge?

We need jobs and affordable housing for our young people. Plaid will safeguard and promote the Welsh and English language culture of the county and its environment.
