You've Nevern had it so good!

An impressive turn-out at the 55th Nevern Agricultural Show on Wednesday - both of competitors and visitors - made the event a great success and a fantastic day out for people of all ages.

Fine examples of horses, cattle, donkeys and sheep seen in the show rings made for stiff competition and some tough decisions for the judges.

In the horticultural section tent, entries to the flower competition were a feast for the eyes and some fine photographs were on display, as were numerous examples of wholesome locally-grown vegetables.

Alongside numerous stalls and stands were giant bouncy castles and other entertainments, and crowds gathered to watch the ferret racing and demonstrations of sheepdog skills using ducks instead of sheep.

At the end of the day people went home clutching cups and rosettes, tired children and new purchases - and all of them were smiling.
