Monster horror flick

Jeepers Creepers 2 Directed By Victor Salva Starring Ray Wise, Jonathan Breck,Travis Schiffner Dur. 103 mins Cert. 15

Jeepers Creepers 2 is a bad horror B-movie.

Proudly written and directed by Victor Salva, Jeepers Creepers 2 takes place a few days after the first one, I think. Returning home from a championship game, a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders, and coaches, become stranded on the infamous East 9 Highway. It turns out that the Creeper, a flesh-eating ancient beast that resurfaces on the earth every 23 years to feed, has disabled the bus, turning the educational transport into a large can of fresh food.

The food is made up of walking US college clichs who, you may well feel as I did, are ripe fodder for anything that wants to tear them to pieces. The kids have to find a way to defend themselves from the Creeper as the night draws on.

So why review it? Well, firstly, for those bad B-movie fans/nerds. Secondly to warn the discerning viewer to get themselves into another screen. And lastly, because I know all too well that there are a load of teens who will see it, because there's nothing else to do, and they may as well know what they're getting.

I'd probably go and see Pirates of the Caribbean again, before I'd see this. It must still be showing somewhere, because it's about the best film of the summer.
