Local talent sweeps the board

Showjumping East Nolton's penultimate show of the winter season, was the best attended so far and was held in glorious sunshine.

Jo Walters, a regular helper at the stables, since she learned to ride there eight years ago, won both the novice novice and novice horse in her first competition on Cloud. The novice novice turned into a real family affair, with Jo's daughter Amy coming second in the junior's class.

Carol Frewer and Amanda Bateman, both of whom work at the stables were also in the ribbons, Carol coming second in the points per fence and Amanda third in the senior novice novice.

Amanda has been consistently in the first three throughout the winter season of monthly shows, which came to an end with the last show on March 14th and hunter trials the last Sunday in the month.
