A toast to our restaurant of the year

THE Wolfe Inn at Wolfscastle has won the Western Telegraph 'Restaurant of the Year' award.

Proprietors Gianni di Lorenzo and his wife Jo are delighted to have become the first winners of the award, in which readers voted for their favourite restaurant. Gianni was presented with the award by Western Telegraph commercial manager Kevin Hire on Thursday.

Said Gianni: "We are absolutely thrilled. This award means more to us than any other because it is locally orientated.

"It means a big vote of confidence from our local customers, who are greatly valued."
