Pembrokeshire Football League Division one
Narberth 1 St Ishmaels 1
A goal in each half meant both Narberth and St Ishmaels had to be content with a draw at Jesse Road.
Narberth played with a stiff breeze in their favour and they had Tish under the cosh for the opening 45.
Despite being on top they only led by a single goal at the interval.
Richie Adams' deep cross was met by a firm Adrian Jones header which beat Tish keeper Jon Pawlett, midway through the half.
Tish's outstanding keeperPawlett pulled off three brilliant saves to deny Adams, Raff Barnett and Dave Gillard, from scoring.
Shortly after the break Tish's veteran Glyn Griffiths missed a sitter, his shot rattled Nigel Thomas' crossbar.
In the 54th minute the visitors got the equaliser after a goal mouth scramble, midfielder John Roden was accredited with the final touch.
Little else happened and on the overall balance of play a draw was probably the right result .
Tish's Tom Carrington broke his arm earlier in the week which required surgery, he will not be available for the rest of the season. Telegraph Sport wishes him a speedy recovery.
