Ilona's thinking BIG

LOCAL artist on the shortlist: Ilona Bayley of Fishguard's painting, Fly With Me 4ever, is one of only 100 Welsh paintings - selected from thousands of entries from across the country - to be shortlisted for the Big Art Competition, which is being run by Channel Five. In Cardiff on August 17th, a panel of judges - including art critic Brian Sewell - will choose ten Welsh artists to go on to the UK-wide heat in October. The prize for winning the competition is £10,000.
