This is the town where ancient Celtic tribesmen headed for to draw up their laws, Roman soldiers came to for a little relaxation, Welsh Princes to set up 'eisteddfodau' and where Merlin, King Arthur's magician called home. In modern days Welsh Nationalist politicians came here to be elected to greater things at Westminster and farmers loudly voiced protest about financial injustices. read more
