  • Highlight of rural calendar

Top of the agenda is likely to be the CAP mid-term review and in particular the cross-compliance element. Wales is anxiously awaiting the outcome of National Assembly countryside minister Carwyn Jones's deliberations. He's due to make an announcement at the end of this month. read more

    Messrs Dai Lewis Auctioneers report: A seasonal entry presented (186) in all sections. Quality was of a higher standard than in previous weeks, with trade being better throughout, but cattle being of smaller proportions. read more
