Benefit gig for Tsunami appeal

A dazzling benefit gig, in aid of the Tsunami disaster fund, will be held at Rhosygilwen Mansion on Saturday, at 8pm.

Heading the line-up will be Astralites, fronted by vocalist Mick Simmonds and featuring Mike Vaughan Jones (keyboards), Peter Taylor-Wood (saxophone), John Brown (bass), Rob Daley (percussion) and John Lloyd (guitar), together with guitarist and composer Mike Chant and his wife, double bass player Elvire Beijdorff. Completing Saturday's line-up will be performance poet Sue Hamblen.
