Shetland Siani is back

PEMBROKESHIRE pony-lovers will be delighted to hear that 25-year-old Newcastle Emlyn author Anwen Francis has launched her second novel, Campau Siani the Shetland.

Written in Welsh, readers follow the antics of the mischievous black Shetland pony, who was first introduced into the literary world last year when thousands of readers bought Anwen's first book, Siani'r Shetland.

The new tale is told through the eyes of a little girl who owns the pony.

Aimed at a readership of seven to nine-year-olds, it may also be of interest to Welsh language students and equestrian enthusiasts.
