Answer sought to councillor's expenses claim

Dear Editor, - I was in the public gallery at County Hall, listening to the debate with regard to the ongoing row about Cllr Brian Hall's expenses claim.

The chief executive, Bryn Parry Jones informed members that he had been told that, that in pursuing his complaint about Cllr Hall's expenses, my husband Mike Stoddart had said he was 'out to get certain individuals'.

My husband was not out to get anyone. He sought an answer to Cllr Hall's bizarre expense claim lodged for journeys made on February 1st, 2001.

Will Mr Parry Jones provide an answer?
