Hurray for speed cameras

Dear Editor, - It was good news to hear speed cameras are being considered for Military Road, Pennar. How long it will take is another matter.

This road is very wide and straight and some of the driving techniques leaves everything to be desired. The cameras are a step in the right direction.

This busy road has schools using it daily apart from the normal heavy traffic. When will some people realise that a car is as lethal as a gun in that speeding and reckless driving kills and destroys families!
