CAB did not fund couple's claim

THE Citizens' Advice Bureau has asked us to point out that the point relating to costs in the report of Andrew and Sally McHardy's (Caldey Island) industrial tribunal ruling was misleading.

The Haverfordwest branch wishes it to be made clear that its volunteer employment specialist advised and represented the McHardys, but it in no way funded the claim. "No financial transaction has taken place. Citizens' Advice Bureaux do not provide financial assistance to clients,'' said branch chairman, Rodger Higham.
