Dear Editor, - Reading various Western Telegraph news stories about the admirable local level of recycling I can't help being struck by one enormous omission.

Our local authorities seem to have no plans to help us recycle the greatest waster of landfill sites - plastic bottles and cardboard.

In the home counties, kerbside collections of both materials are commonplace; why not in Pembrokeshire?
