A Haverfordwest man is searching for a mystery Samaritan who may well have saved his life.
Frank Johns of Cardigan Road, Prendergast, suffered a heart attack while walking to get his newspaper at 8.15am on Sunday, February 20th.
Mr Johns collapsed against a wall injuring his face and hands.
He said: "I could feel myself coming over all funny and tried to steady myself on a wall. "The next thing I know I was flat on my back on the pavement with a man standing over me asking if I was ok and needed an ambulance.
"The man, who came from Milford Haven, and was in a white car, took me home."
Lynne Evans, Mr John's sister said: "It was a bitterly cold morning and not many people are about at that time on a Sunday.
"If it hadn't been for this mystery Samaritan, Frank could have been lying there for ages and died of hypothermia.
"We would desperately like to offer our sincerest thanks and we would like to ask him to get in touch on 01437 766456.
"You don't get many Good Samaritans these days."
