High Sheriff salutes our new magazine

THE ancient burial stone of Pentre Ifan, with its awesome aura, is one of the representative images of Pembrokeshire.

So it was a fitting choice for the front cover of the new Pembrokeshire County Living magazine - another publication from the Western Telegraph stable.

The cover picture was taken by John Archer Thompson, whose work can be seen at Celtic Images, Hilton Court, near Nolton.

Among those impressed by the magazine was Mrs Penny Drew, High Sheriff of Dyfed, pictured here at Pentre Ifan.

"Congratulations!" she said. "I think it is an excellent magazine and I wish the Western Telegraph good luck with it. I have sent one to my son in London."

The next issue of the magazine will be out at the end of April. The magazine is free and is available at selected outlets across the county
