Outraged innocence

DEAR EDITOR, - With reference to recent correspondence and numerous stories from time to time in the national press, could someone please explain the justification for the expressions of outraged innocence that accompany anecdotes by drivers describing how they were caught breaking the law by speed cameras?

Do they believe they should be allowed to set their own speed limits?

OWEN THOMAS, Mill Mead, Robeston Wathen.
