Archdruid stayed at great grandmother's home

DEAR EDITOR, - Regarding the report (Historic Village under the spotlight, March 9th).

As the great grandchildren of Elizabeth Owens with whom Archdruid Crwys stayed when he wrote Melin Trefin, we would like to thank Mr Dillwyn Miles for writing in with the correct information (March 16th).

We had been told by family members that he had stayed in Trefin with Elizabeth Owens, who lived at Farm House, Trefin, and her husband Owen Owens who had come down from Llanberis, North Wales.

THE OWENS FAMILY Penlan. Trefin.
