Where is extra revenue going to be spent?

DEAR EDITOR, - I understand that 30% of households have had their banding increased by one or more steps.

This means that 30% are paying at least an extra two-ninths of the 'rates', in addition to the increase due to inflation and the police requirements.

Where is the extra revenue going to be spent? Is this extra revenue going to mean a reduction in the support grants?

I wonder why we have heard so little from the Conservative Party about this unwarranted extra taxation.

Are they planning more of the same or colluding, so that if they win the election they can point to the reduction in central funding as all their own work?

Another thought - is the Welsh Assembly going to means test the 'up to' £200 relief the Chancellor promised us OAPs?
