We seem to have no choice over Tetra

I'm saddened at Neil Bonnaud's (Letters, May 11th) ignorance to a sensitive issue regarding the erection of Tetra masts and Tetra handsets.

You have a choice whether you purchase a microwave oven, you have a choice if you put your microwave oven in your home, you have a choice if you cook your food in a microwave oven, you have a choice whether you drive a car.

We, as a nation, seem to have no choice regarding the Tetra system.

I suggest that Mr Bonnaud and others who just 'believe everything you are told' do their research.

On the facts of Tetra, would you like a cold war weapon erected in your backyard? I suggest Mr Bonnaud takes his head out of the sand and comes out and smells the roses.

A GEORGE Uzmaston Road, Haverfordwest.
