Four years after a successful protest march to stop GM crop trials at Mathry, campaigners will again take to the road.
But this time, instead of going on foot, they will be on bicycles.
The cycle ride, from Mathry to St Davids, will be Pembrokeshire's contribution to a Europe-wide programme of anti-GM action on June 18th.
The event has been organised by GM-Free Cymru, which will set up an information point distributing leaflets and display banners.
People will also be able to sign a petition demanding that EU law must include the democratic right of local and regional governments to decide whether GM crops can be cultivated in their given area.
Local councillors, the AM and other politicians are also expected to join the event. The cycle ride starts at the square in Mathry between 1pm and 1.30pm and arrives in St Davids around 2.30pm.
The ride will commemorate the successful local action of 2001, when campaigners kept Pembrokeshire GM-free after stopping GM crop trials at Castle Cenlas Farm, Mathry. The campaign was backed by the Western Telegraph.
Cyclists with faces painted and dressed as Rebecca will also honour the memory of the successful community action by the Rebecca Rioters against toll gates in the 1800s.
GM-Free Cymru spokesman said: "The more cyclists we have, the better, and if you can't cycle then your support on the roadside and in St Davids would be much appreciated."
