Miss County Show relaunched as 'Lady Ambassador'

To give Miss County Show a higher profile, Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society and the YFC have got together to relaunch her as the County Show Lady Ambassador.

They have combined forces to stage a summer ball at the County Show Pavilion on Friday, June 17th, at which the 2005 Lady Ambassador will be chosen.

Organiser Mrs Nicky Owen said: "By raising the profile we hope to encourage more young ladies to put their names forward and create greater interaction between the YFC and the show.

The Lady Ambassador is given VIP treatment at the show, attending the three president's lunches and performing various official duties during the show and at other functions throughout her year of office."

The summer ball will feature the Rob Thomas Disco, with music to suit all age groups, and tickets at £5 are available from the YFC and the show office at the Haverfordwest showground.
