Artists open doors on life

Cardigan Open Studios, now in its 11th year is a great opportunity for people to visit artists who live and work across rural west Wales. From Friday, August 26th to Tuesday, August 30th, each studio is open from 11am to 6pm.

They offer the chance to see work in progress, meet and talk to artists and get an insight into what inspires them.

This year, visitors will be able to see a wonderful selection of paintings, prints, textiles and ceramics and even have the opportunity to buy something to remember the visit.

Pick up a brochure from tourist information offices or by phone on 01559 370276 or log on to the Cardigan Open Studio website, www.cardiganopenstudios.co.uk.

Crannog Art, from August 15th to 24th at the The Pentre Arms Hotel in Llangrannog will be holding an exhibition of artists work who live in and around the Cardigan coast.

It will also highlight the work of artists who are in the Cardigan Open Studio event.
