Exceptional horses at Hayscastle Show

DESPITE some rain in the early morning, the 51st annual Hayscastle Show again attracted very good support and excellent entries from as far afield as Aberystwyth, Llandeilo and Ammanford on Saturday.

The quality and standard of the horse and pony entries was described as 'quite exceptional' with many having already competed successfully at the Royal Welsh and United Counties in recent weeks.

The president, Mr Dillwyn Phillips, paid high tribute to a wonderful team for ensuring the show continued with the same enthusiasm and dedication with which it was first begun.
