A violent ex-prisoner who had been staying in St Clears was still on the run from police as we went to press yesterday (Tuesday).
Kevin Robert Rawlinson - described as 'extremely dangerous' - is being hunted to be recalled to prison after breaching his licence conditions.
The tear-drop tattooed criminal, who has convictions for assaulting police officers and members of the public, imposed in Manchester, was known to be staying at an address in the St Clears area, possibly as a condition of his prison licence.
He was last seen on Friday in Cwmffrwd, south of Camarthen on the Kidwelly road.
Rawlinson, aged 47, is described as 6ft 4ins tall and very well-built, with a shaven head, facial stubble and distinctive tear-drop tattoos on both cheeks.
Police emphasise that because of his history of violence, he should not be approached by the public. Anyone who sees Rawlinson should report sightings immediately to Dyfed-Powys Police on 0845 3302000.
