Many fought for free speech

DEAR EDITOR - I write with reference to your report (No room for religion at council meeting, Western Telegraph, February 15th).

Many residents in our country fought and paid with their lives to win a war that gave us freedom of speech and the right to have an opinion of our own.

The Lord's Prayer is part of our heritage and a form of comfort to many people suffering distress.
