Unsigned Welsh bands, wannabe solo artists and up-and-coming DJs are being given the chance to follow in the footsteps of The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie by playing at the legendary Isle of Wight Festival.
The BT Battle of the Bands competition aims to provide a platform for the rising stars of the UK music scene to showcase what they are really made of in front of a massive audience of both potential fans and the cream of the UK music industry.
But anybody who wants to put their name forward needs to hurry - the last day to enter is next Monday.
One act from Wales will be selected to perform against nine acts from different UK regions in a Battle of the Bands competition at the top of the BT Tower, London, on May 31st.
The winner of the BT sponsored contest will play alongside the Sex Pistols, The Police and Ian Brown at this June's festival.
It will provide a once-in-a-lifetime chance for an unsigned artist to appear in the Isle of Wight festival as well as exposing the eventual winner to an audience of thousands.
To claim a place on the Welsh regional battle of the bands competition entrants need to upload a track, biography and photo at bt.com/isleofwight before May 19th.
