A light touch: new paintings by Dai David
The new work of Dai David will be exhibited for the month of July at the White Lion Street Gallery in Tenby. Being both a trained and active musician and a well-established artist, Dai uses the disciplines of one profession to influence the expressive skills of the other. His oil paintings are predominantly of people – young men posing on the beach, little girls playing the piano, family groups in deckchairs, young children playing in the sea and surfers, divers and rock poolers with back grounds as diverse as Newquay, Venice, Gower, Cornwall, Sydney, Aberystwyth and Tenby. Regardless of obvious subject matter, the real subject is the light...see the entire exhibition on the gallery website: www.artmatters.org.uk
