Haverfordwest Ghost Walks return

Haverfordwest’s dark and spine-chilling past will be explored when the town’s Ghost Walks return this month.

Local historian Mark Muller guides those brave enough through the town’s murky past, enthralling audiences with his wide ranging knowledge and gift of storytelling.

Started by Cleddau Community Arts last year, these walks are a great way to find out more about the past of Pembrokeshire’s county town and how it links to the present.

The walks run on September 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th. Helping Mr Muller bring history to life are actors dressed in costumes made by talented young costumier Sophie Dobson.

Rediscover the history and heritage of the town, including a visit to St Mary’s Church, where you might feel the presence of the resident Augustinian monk.

The ghost walks follow in the footsteps of Keith Johnson’s historical pub walk, where more than 50 people took in the delights of Haverfordwest.

Tickets are £6 and available from Victoria Bookshop. Participants should meet at Haverfordwest Castle at 7pm and dress for the weather.

The walk is not suitable for disabled people and children must be over eight.
