What is Manchester-born David Lloyd’s George’s connection to Pembrokeshire? What connects him to Lembit Opik?
These, and many more questions, will be answered during Dave Ainsworth’s new comedy show later this month, called Lloyd George Knew My Second Cousin (Twice Removed) – an irreverent look at the former Prime Minister’s wit, women and Welsh cakes.
Pembroke-based comedian and writer Dave Ainsworth will be performing this show tonight (Friday), at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven. Dave has appeared in half a dozen Torch shows in recent years, including One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Bedroom Farce and a number of pantomimes.
Dave’s previous comedy shows include Augustus John, You Turn Me On!, Land of My Grandfather and Mrs Slocombe’s Cat. This one promises to be full of fun, interesting facts and saucy humour, and is suitable for those aged 15 and over.
Tickets are £8.50 or £7.50 from the box office.
